Somerset Kitchens Design Studio are family-run designers of tailored bathrooms and bespoke kitchens in Bristol. Our approach prioritises getting to know the client and providing them with a truly personalised service from the start to the finish of the design and installation process.

Based in the quaint village of Wrington, we primarily serve the nearby cities of Bristol and Bath but are able to provide design services to people anywhere in the country.

From the initial in-person meeting to our final post-service visit, we aim to provide you with a fully personal service. We work hand-in-hand with you from start to finish to bring your kitchen and bathroom dreams to life – Or to help you articulate them, if you have a general sense that these rooms could be ‘better' but need some experienced help articulating this.

Having been involved in kitchen and bathroom design for over 15 years, Ashley has a wealth of experience compared to most other interior designers.

He has a knack for noticing the finer details and practical considerations that might have passed others by, ensuring that every step of the design and installation runs smoothly.

About Josh

Since starting off in an apprenticeship in 2016, Josh has discovered a natural aptitude for kitchen design.

Beyond the satisfying challenge of designing a kitchen, Josh enjoys translating ideas into tangible concepts and making these a reality.

To him, kitchen design is as much an art as it is a science, he enjoys creating spaces that don't just meet but exceed expectations.

What drives our approach to kitchen design in Bristol

We both find seeing the before and after of a project immensely satisfying – Be that in the same space, a new space or adapting a space for the client's needs.

In the same vein, we enjoy meeting people as clients and eventually parting way with them as friends, due to us spending so much time with each other.

Kitchen and bathroom design is as much a hobby as it is a job for us. We both found our feet in the industry through passion, and that passion is still burning strong all these years later.

On the whole, we both find design to be a very rewarding job. We feel privileged in being able to help people realise their dream kitchens and bathrooms, whether that happens to be in a new home or transforming a space they previously disliked.

Booking

We arrange a slot for us to visit your property

Survey

We'll pay you a visit to acquire measurements, discuss colours and layouts and potentially examine what plans you may currently have

Design

We'll return to the showroom and get designing, before emailing you our 3D images and drawings.

Finalisation

Come into our showroom to have a look at our mock-ups, as well as the appliances and accessories we have on display.

Construction

The work begins! We'll sort out the fitters and suppliers for your new kitchen or bathroom.
